The Cavs closed out the regular season with a trip to take on rival Streator. Streator struck first about 6 minutes into the game with a goal. From there the LP defense clamped down and held Streator scoreless the remainder of the game. The LP goal came of a deflection that Jesus Cruz put into the back of the net. In the closing seconds of the game Daniel Aguilar missed a great opportunity as the goal was wide open but his ball sailed high. Shots on goal this evening were tallied from Mike Lock-1 Joan Garcia-1, Jesus Cruz-1, Daniel Aguilar-1 and Oscar Gonzalez with 2. In goal Jalen Depenbrock made 12 saves including a penalty kick save to save the game. The Cavs ended their regular season with a record of 8 wins, 12 losses and 3 ties, the best win record in the short LP soccer history.
